THE GREAT DIG BY HIDDEN CEDARS DACHSHUNDS

This metal grate was placed next to the fence to discourage digging.  Well as you can tell by the photos it did not do its intended job. Trinket, a red smooth female started her project and was discouraged by me filling up the hole several times.  Finally I opted for the wire.... she just moved her dig over... Dachshunds are nothing if not tenacious.  Since the huge hole did not actually go anywhere but into another run and did not surface I decided to watch and enjoy everyone checking it out.  They are after all earthdogs!!!

there is a dog in the hole!!! Trinket reoccupying HER dig!!!  Everyone took their turn going into the hole and laying in it for awhile.  After all I am sure it is much cooler with the temp today at 80...
