Just For Fun We thought we would share with you some of our fun times with our GANG of goof offs.

Mvc-062f.jpg (23692 bytes) Here we are on the sleep train!!   We make these beds for our dachshunds and other dogs as well.  We could not decide on which color we liked the best so we said one of each will do.   They of course could care less about the color.  It is enough just to have a bed that is so comfy!!!

Mvc-016f.jpg (20714 bytes) This absolutely adorable child is my granddaughter Amber with Sally the red piebald dachshund looking on.   Amber Nicole will be a year old 10-20-01 and we will having a big birthday bash to celebrate.  Definitely one of the great joys in life...grandmotherhood!!!

Mvc-008f.jpg (27460 bytes)This is not a dachshund!!! although he was raised with our pups and thinks he is a dog!!   This is Sheetrock.  He acquired this name because his mother, who is a wild cat put him in our attic to raise him.  When he got about 5 weeks old Sheetrock decided to go for a stroll in our attic and fell down the inside wall of our kitchen.   We had listened to him make pleasant kitten noises for several weeks but after the fall down the wall he was not happy at all!!! He ended up under our cook top in the cabinet behind the sheetrock in the wall.  In order to find him I had to cut a hole in the wall and unfortunately he was not in that spot.  I moved over to the next space and cut another hole.  I heard hissing and unhappy kitten noises so I knew I had found the right spot. I had to be  very careful cutting the hole in the sheetrock as I did not want to injure him with the knife I was using. Once I got the hole big enough to see inside, all I could see were teeth and claws and one scared kitten.   I had my nephew bring me my husbands welding leather gloves and retrieved the now hissing, biting, screaming kitten.  He was not a happy camper but considering his ordeal it was understandable. We kept Sheetrock in a crate with all the amenities and soon he came around to our way of thinking.  Now he is a neutered content desk cat!!!   He still tries to get into our attic once in awhile but we have managed to keep him out so far!!
